I really enjoyed this book It s quite different from book one, and I liked that both parts felt like separate books In this one we learn a bit about Tristan and what it means to be a werewolf half breed, however much still needs to be explained and revealed I like both the romance and the fight scenes I do however with the author would explain , which is why I gave it four stars I also think I like River than Tristan, but I don t want to give any spoilers It s both a slow, comfortable story and a fast, suspense filled one as we follow the main character as he deals with his werewolf side, his craving and finding love It have a bit of information on the supernatural, some romance and fight scenes, which I like the most I am looking forward to both the next book in this series and the authors other totally different fantasy saga.

The second book in this series of The Blue River Chronicles The Change is even better than the first You follow Tristan as he stumbles on alone Hungry, dirty and homeless he walks into a small town where suddenly a home and a job is thrust upon him He goes from being all alone to having friends, and even a love interest We see Tristan bloom into a confident, happier person as this town and the people give him stability and security. But of course, as with all good stories this can t last.I will leave it there, as I really don t want to give any spoilers The story carries you along and you can easily immerse yourself in the world We get to learn a little bit about werewolves, and get a few hints about who Tristan s father is and the possibly creepy consequences this could mean The character of Tristan continues to grow and change, and all the new characters introduced into the story are well rounded and likeable, with each their own voice. The writer continues to astounds with the comprehensive world building and beautiful writing, and I cannot wait for the next installment.

I think my favorite part of this book is when Juliet asks Tristan to climb up to her window and he s like isn t that a bit cliche Actually I thought there were a lot favorite parts, but that was just one of them and I love this book.I like the first book in the series, but this one is so much better I really liked how things progressed in the first half of the book, and I was so happy that Tristan finally found a place to belong and I just wanted his life to carry on like that happy ending But then I also enjoyed how things developed in Part Two so now I feel bad that I enjoyed reading it And again, like in the last book, I find myself both worried and excited to find out what happens next I hope book 3 is available as quickly as book 2 was
